  • Pier:  Built in 1928, the San Clemente Pier is a 1,200 foot stretch of planks where you can to take a stroll, watch the surfing action or enjoy a meal at the Fisherman's Restaurant and Oyster Bar. 
  • Theatre:   Cabrillo Playhouse Founded in 1953, a volunteer-run Community Theatre housed in an historic Ole Hanson-style abode located in the center of downtown San Clemente.  The non-profit, 66-seat theatre has won rave reviews for its innovative and inspired classic and original productions.   
  • History:   Mission San Juan Capistrano - Historic Spanish architecture, gardens and fountains are found just up the road where the swallows return annually to in San Juan Capistrano.  
  • Festivals:   Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts - A short drive north on Pacific Coastal Highway takes you to Laguna Beach - the home to the premier art experience - Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts. Laguna has an abundance of winding avenues filled with Galleries, Boutiques and Shops with lots of eateries. 
  • Art Galleries:   A bounty of local Art Galleries are located on historic Avenida Del Mar and El Camino Real. Featuring works from renowned regional artists, where galleries and shops display diverse talent and disciplines.  
  • Golf:  The San Clemente Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course with ocean views and a renowned clubhouse restaurant.  
  • Gardens:   The Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens was built in 1927.  Designed to reflect the California lifestyle, the 2.4-acre Casa Romantica includes historic exhibitions, literary symposia, musical attractions, and special events. 
  • West White House:  President Nixon’s Western White House - The seven-bedroom, seven-bath house known as La Casa Pacifica Estate is the former home of President Richard Nixon and was used while working away from the official presidential White House.  
  • Train to San Diego: Catch the south bound Amtrak in the morning and head down to Old Town San Diego. Spend the day at the historical park shopping in little Mexican stores and shops or dine at Mexican Restaurants on site; catch the afternoon train ride back to San Clemente.
  • Beaches:  With miles of beautiful beaches and seemingly endless stretches of sand, the locals to embrace the beach culture in their attitudes and lifestyles.
