Monday & Wednesday Exercise

10 a.m. in the Activities Center

Monday with Keith (on DVD); Wednesday Balance & Mobility and Friday with Jane (on DVD) 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Activities Center. During COVID we are doing FIT exercises via DVD in our Activities Center Lower Level. We also have a guided walk at 4:15 for residents who may need supervision. These walks will occur Wednesday through Sunday until further notice.

Water Aerobics with Sandra

Thursday at 2:00

This activity is perfect for people who need to exercise, but have difficulty standing and walking. The water holds you up and allows you to do your aerobics without fear of falling. Sandra is a Physical Therapist who specializes in water aerobics. This activity will be held “weather-permitting”. Join us any time! Sandra Wong, MPT

DIY Crafts with Daiana

On hold during COVID. Our Executive Director, Laura will be doing a craft on the second Wednesday of the month (June 10th) and Daiana will be doing watercolor class the other Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. until further notice.

August 2020 Employee of the Month

Lorena Hernandez

Lorena Hernandez is our Employee of the month for this month of August. She is a dedicated, positive, and hardworking employee. Lorena is married to Diego. She is a mother of a baby girl named Paulina. She is 3 years old. Lorena loves to play with her and read her stories. They love to all hang out and always spend time as a family. She comes from a big family. She has 8 siblings, 5 women and 3 men. Their family is from Guanajuato, Mexico. She believes that family is the most important thing and that’s why she also loves working here. She says the schedule that they have here at the Villas is perfect for life back at home. She gets to spend a lot of time as she gets off around 3 o’clock. She loves working at San Clemente Villas. It’s been since 2018. She says that what makes it special is the ambiance here. She feels good working in this atmosphere. We very much appreciate having Lorena here as part of the staff. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Congratulations, Lorena!
