““October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came-
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
MissWeather led the dancing,
ProfessorWind the band."
~George Cooper, October's Party
Autumn has arrived and as the temperatures cool, we look forward to savory fall meals, apple treats and cider, a warm cozy blanket and the company of good friends or a good book. Here at San Clemente Villas by the Sea we have already begun planning for the upcoming holiday season, to make sure we have everything prepared for our residents and all to enjoy! October is the month ofWorld Smile Day, Indigenous People Day (formerly known as Columbus Day), Dictionary Day and of course…Halloween!
The metaphor for October is transformation. Leaves change colors, the weather changes from warm to cool, sweaters and cardigans come out of storage to change up our wardrobe choices. The Villas has gone through a transformation as well, as we’ve faced the challenges of the coronavirus and learned new ways to live together and support each other during these ever-changing times.
As always, the Villas family of staff are here to help. If you need anything at all, please let us know…we’re all in this together, and we are here to support you.
Happy Autumn, and stay well.
