July 2021 Employee of the Month

Kenia Cortez

Kenia has been working at the Villas for 13 years. For most of that time she was a dining roomKenia has been working at the Villas for 13 years. For most of that time she was a dining roomserver, but she was promoted to the position of Dining Concierge. Kenia has definitely embracedthis new responsibility and has helped provide a safety net by making sure we have knowledgeof each resident’s welfare at each meal. Kenia has six sisters and one brother. She’s the babyof her family. Kenia loves food, enjoys trying different ethnicities of food, and especially likesdining in restaurants. Kenia does her best to enjoy life!

Tina Jillings

I was born in San Jose, California, I moved to San Diego 25 years ago. I have been married for 26 years. I have two beautiful children and 4 amazing grandchildren.

I started working in Senior Care 20 years ago and I find it to be the most fulfilling and interesting work I have ever done. I enjoy working with Seniors because I always get sage advice, amazing stories of resilience, bravery, overcoming obstacles, and sometimes funny stories.
