If you loved to putter about in your garden learning how to make plants grow. It’s even more fun when you’re part of a group of passionate gardeners who unite to trade information, swap stories, and give each other a hand.
We show one episode each week of this award winning series. It reminds us that there are angels among us, and for believers, that "nothing is impossible with God”. Be prepared to laugh and cry, but mostly to be touched and changed in positive ways.

Hello San Clemente Villas By the Sea, my name is Gabriela Rivero and I am so excited to be joining the San Clemente Villas Team as the new Director of Memory Care! A little bit about me; I received my degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton where my studies were focused on Gerontology and the disease process of dementia. I have been working in Memory Care since 2014 and my passion lies in creating an environment where residents thrive as well as providing educational tools and resources to fellow associates and families. One of my favorite things about working in Memory Care is that it is a much more intimate setting in which residents and families become a tight knit community. I look forward to supporting and developing robust programs in Memory Care, meeting residents and families, and getting to know the team.
My favorite animals are Horses and English Bull dogs. I was born in Memphis Tennessee down the street from Elvis Presley. My dad was in the Marines and we move to the El Toro Marine base when I was 13. My Grandmother and my mother were both nurses and my great great Grandfather was a Doctor in Silerton Tennessee. I grew up hanging out at hospitals and nursing homes. At the age of 16 I became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked in skilled nursing with my mom as my supervisor. My senior year of High School I completed a Medical Assistant program and went to work for a dermatologist and became a surgical assistant. I graduated Nursing school in 1993 and worked for Lake Forest Nursing Center for 17 years as an LVN and Director of Staff Development. I have been in management most of my nursing career in skilled nursing and Assisted Living communities. I believe that Nursing is the Gentle Art of caring. It is my passion in life to follow my family’s footsteps and doing what I can to enhance the lives of the residents I care for each and every day
I am a California native. I was born in Long Beach. I graduate from Long Beach poly. After I graduated, I joined the Air Force and was a MWR- Morale welfare and recreation specialist. My job duties included working the fitness center and in the mortuary. I was released with an honorable discharge due to pregnancy. I stayed home and raised my three children and then in 2006 I started part time nursing school. I graduated in 2009 and then started working at Villa Valencia as a Med Tech and then became the Wellness Nurse there until coming to San Clemente Villas by the Sea. My father was a nurse in the Cardiac lab. I was able to watch an open heart surgery it was then I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I choose to work in assisted living instead of being a cardiac nurse because while in nursing school working with the elderly population was so rewarding. My goal is to become an RN in the future. I love what I do each and every day
